Architects have often asked if there was a pre-weathered finish available in TCS II, as they objected to the bright initial appearance of terne coating.

To fulfil this need Follansbee have introduced a low reflective 'satin' finish, which provides a similar appearance to the weathered finish on TCS II. This is achieved by rolling an embossed finish onto our standard TCS II, which eliminates the reflectivity. The appearance is similar to the standard bright finish after it has weathered for 6 months, and will continue to weather.
The new low reflective finish is particularly useful in soffit and fascia applications where weathering of the standard TCS II is very slow.
